WESTPORT HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION

LEGAL NOTICE AND AGENDA

Notice is hereby given that the Westport Historic District Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, in Town Hall Room 201/201A for the following purposes:

 PUBLIC HEARING

1. To hear the Chair’s report and update on current HDC activities.

2. To approve the minutes of the January 9, 2018 meeting.

3. To review and comment on the revised proposed renovation at 2 Riverside Avenue in the National Hall National Register District

4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 2 Riverside Avenue be waived.

5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 77 Cavalry Road be waived.  

6. To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 25 Manitou Road be waived. 

7. To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 24 Spriteview Avenue be waived. 

8. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application for the chimney removal and replication at 25 Evergreen Avenue.

9. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application for the sanding and painting of the studio accessory structure at 38 Evergreen Avenue.

10. To review and comment on new tenant signage at 6 Wilton Road located in the Historic Design District (HDD).
