WESTPORT HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION
LEGAL NOTICE AND AGENDA
Notice is hereby given that the Westport Historic District Commission will hold a work session at 6:00 p.m. and a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 in Town Hall Room 309 for the following purposes:
WORK SESSION
1. To discuss Certificate of Appropriateness application procedures.
PUBLIC HEARING
1.To hear the Chair’s report and update on current HDC activities.
2.To approve the minutes of the October 10, 2017 meeting.
3.To approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated October 30, 2017 for the proposed temporary vestibule enclosure at 90 Post Road East, Old Town Hall, located in the Jesup Road Historic District.
4.To approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated October 31, 2017 for the proposed new construction at 20 Morningside Drive South located in the 20 and 26 Morningside Drive South Historic District.
5.To approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated October 31, 2017 for the proposed installation of site fencing at 300 Main Street located in the Gorham Avenue Historic District.
6.To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a retroactive partial demolition permit at One Wilton Road located in the National Hall National Register District be waived.
7.To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 25 Oak Ridge Park be waived.
8.To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 18 Weston Road be waived.
9.To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 12 Covelee Drive be waived.
10.To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 15 Old Mill Road (front structure) be waived.
11.To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 5 Ivy Terrace be waived.
12.To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 2 Conte Place be waived.
13.To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 40 Tamarac Road be waived.
14.To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 20 Rices Lane be waived.
15.To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 19 Saint Johns Place be waived.
