AGENDA

1. Discussion of subcommittee objectives

Draft statement of purpose:
• To reduce the number of coverage variances sought through the ZBA
• To address concerns regarding building and lot coverage on lots that are undersized for the zones in which they are located.
• To evaluate building and lot coverage allowed as of right on undersized lots.
• To better harmonize the work of the ZBA and the Planning and Zoning Commission with regard to building and lot coverage regulation.
Draft goals:
• To evaluate how to approach the purposes of the subcommittee
• To draft text or map amendments that achieve the purpose of the subcommittee
• To promote the draft text or map amendments with the decision makers of Westport

2. Review draft text amendment to Section 6 of Zoning Regulations

3. Review of draft text amendment to create AB zone

4. Discussion of possible next steps
