1.Discussion of subcommittee objectives
Draft statement of purpose:
•To reduce the number of coverage variances sought through the ZBA
•To address concerns regarding building and lot coverage on lots that are undersized for the zones in which they are located.
•To evaluate building and lot coverage allowed as of right on undersized lots.
•To better harmonize the work of the ZBA and the Planning and Zoning Commission with regard to building and lot coverage regulation.
Draft goals:
•To evaluate how to approach the purposes of the subcommittee
•To draft text or map amendments that achieve the purpose of the subcommittee
•To promote the draft text or map amendments with the decision makers of Westport
2.Review draft text amendment to Section 6 of Zoning Regulations
3.Review of draft text amendment to create AB zone
4.Discussion of possible next steps
