Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. in Room 307/309 of the Westport Town Hall for the following purposes:


1. To approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s public hearing of August 23, 2017.


2. At the request of the Board of Selectmen, to review additional information related to the test drive area proposed for the Concours d’Caffeine event scheduled for October 1, 2017, and previously approved at the August 8, 2017 Board of Selectmen public meeting.

3. To take such action as the meeting may determine upon the request of the Director of Parks and Recreation to close that portion of Main Street from its intersection at Post Road East to its intersection at Avery Place and Myrtle Avenue from Evergreen Avenue to Main Street on Friday, October 27  Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for the annual Halloween Parade, contingent upon compliance with recommendations from the Westport Police Department.


4. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Director of Public Works, to approve the Award of Contract (Bid #18-898T), Pavement Preservation and Repairs, in the amount of $718,370.80 to FGB Construction Co., Inc.

5. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Director of Public Works, to approve the Award of Contract (Bid #17-891T 892T), Veteran’s Green Sidewalk Improvement, in the amount of $237,270.00 to Nardi Masonry Construction, LLC.


6. Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to take such action as the meeting may determine, to approve the residential sanitary sewer connection request at property known as 268 Hillspoint Road, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Coordinator’s letter of September 5, 2017.


7. At the request of the applicant, to revise the date on the Application for Use of Town Property known as Imperial Avenue Parking Lot for the Westport Farmers Market fundraising event from Thursday, September 14, 2017 to Wednesday, October 4, 2017. All conditions of the application as approved by the Board of Selectmen at its August 23, 2017 public hearing shall remain.
