AGENDA
The Affordable Housing Subcommittee of the Planning and Zoning Commission will meet to:
1.Discuss the decision by the State of Connecticut on the Affordable Housing Bill that was passed on June 7, 2017 and how it may/may not affect affordable housing in Westport. This Bill was later vetoed by the Governor 7/7/17.
2.Discuss strategies to educate the public on Affordable Housing in Westport.
3.Lobbying Connecticut Department of Housing Commissioner Evonne Kline on how Westport’s transitional housing could potentially count towards moratorium points.
All interested members of the public are invited to attend; interested persons may provide comments after being recognized by one of the subcommittee members.
