LEGAL NOTICE OF DECISION  
  
Notice is hereby given that at a meeting held on June 1, 2017, the Westport Planning and Zoning Commission took the following action:


1. POSITIVE REPORT:  Clinton Avenue, Fillow Street, Breezy Knoll, Sniffen Road, Loren Lane, Calumet Road, Stone Drive & Richmondville Avenue, §8-24 Request by the First Selectman for a report from the Planning and Zoning Commission regarding a sanitary sewer extension to service the above referenced area for properties in the Residence A zone.


2. ADOPTED AS MODIFIED:  Amendment #735, Appl. #17-026 by the Westport Planning and Zoning Commission to modify §5, (Definitions) and to add §32-25 (Medical Marijuana Dispensaries) to permit medical marijuana dispensaries as a Special Permit Use.  Effective date: 7/26/17


3. DENIED:  Amendment #731, Appl. #17-017 by Mel Barr, Barr Associates, LLC for an amendment to the Westport Zoning Regulations to add language to §34-11.12 Reserved Future Spaces, to provide for an alternative to the construction of reserved future parking spaces. The proposal is to add §34-11.12.1 Alternative Leased Spaces, to allow the Planning and Zoning Commission to authorize the leasing of parking spaces on a single adjoining non-residential or mixed-use lot subject to Special Permit/Site Plan approval and compliance with additional standards proposed. 
The above items were granted/approved/denied with conditions, which are on file with the Planning and Zoning Office in Town Hall at 110 Myrtle Avenue
