WESTPORT HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION
LEGAL NOTICE AND AGENDA
Notice is hereby given that the Westport Historic District Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 in Town Hall Room 201/201A for the following purposes:
PUBLIC HEARING
1.To hear the Chair’s report and update on current HDC activities.
2.To approve the minutes of the May 9, 2017 meeting.
3.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application for the replacement of garage doors at 96 Kings Highway North located in the Kings Highway North Historic District.
4.Upon the request of the Westport Preservation Alliance, to discuss a proposal for establishing the Lees Canal National Register District.
5.To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 26 Church Street South be waived.
6.To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 26 Highland Avenue be waived.
7.To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 15 Covelee Drive be waived.
8.To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 15 Valley Road be waived.
9.To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 20 Bridge Street be waived.
