Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. in Room 307/309 of the Westport Town Hall for the following purposes:
1.To approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s public hearing of April 26, 2017 and the Water Pollution Control Authority’s public hearing of April 26, 2017.
2.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the use of Town property known as Jesup Green for Westport Youth Commission’s “Capture-a-Cop” event on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. contingent upon compliance with comments from various town departments and in accordance with the Procedures for Use of Town-owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways.
3.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the use of Town property known as Jesup Green for the Westport Library’s “Storytime on the Green” every Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. from July 5 through August 16, 2017, contingent upon compliance with comments from various town departments and in accordance with the Procedures for Use of Town-owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways.
4.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the use of Town roadways for the William Raveis Ride & Walk, sponsored by the William Raveis Charitable Foundation, on Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., contingent upon compliance with comments from various town departments and in accordance with the Procedures for Use of Town-owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways.
5.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the renewal of the Enterprise Volume Licensing Agreement between the Town of Westport and Microsoft.
6.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the award of contract Bid #17-885T (pavement restoration) to FGB Construction Co., Inc.
7.Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to accept the Sanitary Sewer Petition (Contract No. 71) and to authorize the extension of the sanitary sewer system to service properties located in all or part of the following areas:Clinton Avenue, Fillow Street, Breezy Knoll, Richmondville Avenue, Sniffen Road, Loren Lane, Calumet Road, Stone Drive.
8.Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority and in accordance with Connecticut General Statutes, to approve the final benefit assessments to be levied for the construction or acquisition of a sewer system affecting properties located in all or part of the following areas: Bulkley Avenue North, Buttonwood Lane, Elizabeth Drive, Evans Court, Forest Drive, Long Lots Road, Mallard Lane, Maple Avenue North, Old Road, Shadowlawn Drive and Ulbrick Lane.
