Notice is hereby given that the Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 4:30 p.m. in Room 309 of the Westport Town Hall for the following purpose(s):
1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s pubic hearing of June 8, 2011.
2. To take such action as the meeting may determine acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority to approve a supplemental sanitary sewer connection at property known as 1 Rivard Crescent, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Coordinator’s letter of June 8, 2011.
3. To take such action as the meeting may determine, acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to approve waivers of 2010 sewer assessment installment, interest, and/or use charges as grandfathered in 1989 and as recommended by the Human Services Department.
4. To take such action as the meeting may determine, acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to approve 100 percent deferral for 2009 sewer assessment installment, carrying charges and/or sewer use charges for residents found eligible by the Assessor under Westport Ordinance No. 134-3 and as recommended by the Human Services Department.
5. To take such action as the meeting may determine, acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to approve fifty percent deferral for 2009 sewer assessment installment, carrying charges and/or sewer use charges for residents found eligible by the Assessor under Westport Ordinance No. 134-3 and as recommended by the Human Services Department.
6. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a driveway variance at property known as 22 Marion Road, contingent upon compliance with the Town Engineer’s letter of June 13, 2011.
7. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the renewal of two maintenance agreements, Contract No. 50708 and Contract No. 50709, between the Town of Westport and Total Communications, Inc. for the Cisco VOIP equipment as recommended by the Information Technology Director.
8. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve acceptance of a Certified Local Government Supplemental Grant, to approve the funding agreement between the Town of Westport and the Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism as relates to the survey of historic buildings project, and to authorize First Selectman Gordon F. Joseloff to sign such documentation on behalf of the Town of Westport.
