LEGAL NOTICE AND AGENDA *REVISION (1)
Notice is hereby given that the Westport Historic District Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 in Town Hall Room 201/201A for the following purposes:
PUBLIC HEARING
1.To elect the following slate of officers: Chair, Randy Henkels; Vice Chair, Ed Gerber; and Clerk, Bob Weingarten.
2.To hear the Chair’s report and update on current HDC activities.
3.To approve the minutes of the December 13, 2016 meeting.
4.To review proposed modifications to an approved Certificate of Appropriateness Application at 134 Cross Highway, the Wakeman Town Farm a local historic property.
5.To review and consider support for the proposed amendment to the boundary of the Westport Center National Register District.
6.To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 281 Compo Road South be waived.
7.To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 27 Soundview Drive, a non-contributing resource in the Compo Owenoke Historic District, be waived.
8.To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 270 Saugatuck Avenue (two garages and two single family residences excluding the existing masonry building) be waived.
9.*To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that that balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 22 Long Lots Lane be waived. WITHDRAWN
