WESTPORT HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION
LEGAL NOTICE AND AGENDA
Notice is hereby given that the Westport Historic District Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 in Town Hall Room 201/201A for the following purposes:
PUBLIC HEARING
1. To hear the Chair’s report and update on current HDC activities.
2. To approve the minutes of the November 9, 2016 public hearing.
3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated October 28, 2016 for a replacement fence at the Christ and Holy Trinity Church Cemetery at Kings Highway North located in the Kings Highway North Historic District.
4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated November 3, 2016 for the replacement of an existing brick paver sidewalk with the a new brick paver sidewalk at 90 Post Road East, Old Town Hall, located in the Jesup Road Historic District.
5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated November 29, 2016 for additional modifications to the original main house, the new barn structure addition and the garage at 300 Main Street located in the Gorham Avenue Historic District.
6. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve minor edits to the draft Kemper-Gunn Study Report made since the October 6, 2016 approval.
7. To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 18 Mayflower Parkway be waived.
8. To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 14 Sandpiper Road be waived.
9. To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 88 Morningside Drive South, c. 1900, be waived.
10. To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 7Belden Place, c. 1920, and 15 Belden Place, c. 1930, identified on the Historic Resources Inventory and listed as contributing properties in the Westport Center National Register District be waived.
11. To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 27 Long Lots Lane be waived.
WORK SESSION
12. To discuss the public works project to replace the curb on Edge Hill Road.
13. To appoint a nomination committee for the upcoming election of officers.
14. To discuss scheduling work sessions on the third Tuesday of the month beginning January 2017.
