LEGAL NOTICE & AGENDA - Revision

(Revision to wording for Item #9)

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority, will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at 12 noon in Room 201 of the Westport Town Hall for the following purpose(s):

1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s public hearing of May 18, 2011; and to approve the minutes of the Water Pollution Control Authority’s public hearing of May 18, 2011.

2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve monetary gifts to the Town of Westport from local Westport residents supporting the Department of Human Services Family Program/Campership in accordance with the Policy for Gifts to the Town as amended Oct. 28, 1998.

3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve monetary gifts to the Town of Westport from the Westport Rotary Club Foundation and the Westport Police Benevolent Association supporting the Department of Human Services Family Program/Campership in accordance with the Policy for Gifts to the Town as amended Oct. 28, 1998.

4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve monetary gifts to the Town of Westport from the Westport Woman’s Club supporting the Department of Human Services Families In Need, Senior Client Needs/Project Go and Senior Client’s Needs/Special Needs escrow accounts in according with the Policy for Gifts to the Town as amended Oct. 28, 1998.

5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the use of town-owned property known as Jesup Green by The Friends of the Levitt Pavilion for their annual summer gala cocktail party on Thursday, July 28, 2011, contingent upon compliance with comments from town departments including the Westport/Weston Health District, and in accordance with the Procedures for Use of Town-owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways.

6. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the closure of the town-owned sidewalk known as the Riverwalk on Thursday, July 28, 2011 for The Friends of the Levitt Pavilion annual gala concert.

7. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Municipal Audit Agreement between the Town of Westport and McGladrey & Pullen, LLP, appointed by the Board of Finance on May 18, 2011 pursuant to CGS §7-396 to perform the town audit of the 2010-2011 fiscal period.

8. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a service agreement between the Town of Westport and Constant Contact, Inc. for an e-mail listing service, as recommended by the Information Technology Director.

9. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a waiver of the Policy on Encroachments on Town Property as relates to the repair of a stone wall located at 32 Charcoal Hill Road, contingent upon compliance with Town Engineer letter of June 1, 2011.
