Notice is hereby given that the Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public hearing on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. in Room 307/309 of the Westport Town Hall for the following purpose(s):
1.To approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s public hearing of September 28, 2016.
2.To receive an update on the Adaptive Re-Use Feasibility Study Report as it relates to the Town owned property located at 68 Compo Road South (a/k/a Golden Shadows).
3.In accordance with C.G.S. Sec. 7-147q (g), to review and provide comment on the amended report related to the proposed Local Historic Landmark Property Designation of the Former Nike Missile Radar Site, located on Town owned property known as 182 Bayberry Lane.
4.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the sale of 6,166 square feet of Town-owned property located between the paved portion of the roadway and the private parcel at 20 Woody Lane.
5.To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Director of Parks & Recreation, to approve the Agreement between the Town of Westport and Aris Land Studios, LLC as it relates to landscape design services for the Town-owned property known as Baron’s South.
6.To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Director of Parks & Recreation, to approve the Agreement between the Town of Westport and The Care of Trees as it relates to tree maintenance, tree removal, and tree care services on Town-owned property known as Baron’s South.
7.To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Director of Parks & Recreation, to approve the agreement between the Town of Westport and TO Design, LLC as it relates to design services for a walkway and restroom building on Town property known as 60 Compo Beach Road, South Beach.
8.To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Director of Public Works, to approve the Award of Contract Bid #16-843T to Blakeslee, Arpaia, Chapman, Inc. as it relates to the replacement of the Saugatuck Island Bridge.
9.To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Director of Public Works, to approve the award of contract to The Gorman Group, LLC as it relates to the NOVAChip paving application on various Town roadways.
10.Acting in its capacity as the Traffic Authority, upon the recommendation of the Director of Public Works, to approve the installation of crosswalks on the Town-owned roadway known as Imperial Avenue at its intersections at Baker Avenue and Thomas Road.
