Notice is hereby given that the Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. in Room 307/309 of the Westport Town Hall for the following purpose(s):
1.To approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s public hearing of June 30, 2016 and the minutes of the Water Pollution Control Authority’s public hearing of June 30, 2016.
2.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the use of Jesup Green on Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm for the Movie Classic event, sponsored by the Westport Library and Toquet Hall, contingent upon compliance with comments from various town departments and in accordance with Procedures for Use of Town-owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways.
3.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the use of various Town roadways on Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am for the William Raveis Ride and Walk event sponsored by The William Raveis Charitable Fund, contingent upon compliance with comments from various town departments and in accordance with Procedures for Use of Town-owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways.
4.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the use of Town Property known as the Imperial Avenue and Upper Library Parking Lots from Friday, September 3, 2016 at 8:00 pm (set-up) through Monday, September 5, 2016 at 6:00 pm (breakdown) for the Blues, Views and Barbeque Festival sponsored by the Westport Downtown Merchants Association, contingent upon compliance with comments from various town departments and in accordance with Procedures for Use of Town-owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways.
5.To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Director of Human Services, to accept monetary gifts to the Town of Westport Human Services Department 2016 Campership Program, in accordance with the Policy for Gifts to the Town.
6.Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the residential sanitary sewer connection request at property known as 5 Locust Lane, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Coordinator’s letter of July 1, 2016.
7.Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the additional sewage units and the new sewer assessment for the proposed redevelopment at property known as 785 Post Road East, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Coordinator’s letter of July 6, 2016.
8.Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the additional sewage units and the new sewer assessment for the proposed redevelopment at property known as 1141 Post Road East, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Coordinator’s letter of July 6, 2016.
