LEGAL NOTICE AND AGENDA

Notice is hereby given that the Westport Historic District Commission will hold a work session at 6:30 p.m. and a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 in Town Hall Room 201 for the following purposes:
WORK SESSION
1. To hear a pre-application for possible future modifications at 90 Post Road East located in the Jesup
Road Historic District.
PUBLIC HEARING
2. To hear the Chair’s report and update on current HDC activities.
3. To approve the minutes of the May 10, 2016 public hearing and the May 25, 2016 special meeting.
4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to review and make a recommendation to the Planning and Zoning Commission for proposed signage at 12 Wilton Road located in the Historic Design District (HDD).
5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of delay period for a demolition permit at 31 Westfair Drive be waived.
6. To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of delay period for a demolition permit at 5 Locust Lane be waived.
7. To take such action as the meeting may determine to recommend to the Building Official that the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit at 21 Juniper Road be waived.
8. *To approve the submission of a CLG Enhancement Grant application to the State Historic Preservation Off ice in the amount of $15,000 for the preparation of the Bridge Street National Register Nomination Study.
9. To discuss nominations for upcoming 2016 Annual Preservation Awards.
