LEGAL NOTICE OF HEARING


The Zoning Board of Appeals of Westport will hold a Public Hearing in Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall to hear the following applications seeking relief from the Westport Zoning Regulations:


1. 1000 Post Road East:  ZBA Appl. #7477 by Daniel Brennan, Starbucks Agent, for property owned by Compass Rose Property Co. Inc., for a variance for signage for Starbucks, for more than one free standing sign, for signage more than thirty two (32) square feet, for height of wall sign, for signs in the Highway Service District (HSD) and for awnings less than 7.6 in height, for property located in the HSD zone, PID #F09057000.


2. 2 Conte Place:  ZBA Appl. #7485  by Opala Avdiu for property owned by Opala Avdiu for a variance for setbacks, for height, for number of stories, for coverage and for parking to raise existing dwelling above flood level and for a second floor addition and attic, to be consistent with the Coastal Area Management Act, for property located in a Residence A zone, PID #B02085000.


3. 24 Fairfield Avenue:  Appl. #7483 by Christopher Pagliaro, Architect,  for property owned by Westport Realty & Development for a variance for coverage for a new single family dwelling for property located in a Residence A zone, PID #D03084000.


4. 785 Post Road East:  Appl. #7488 by 785 Post Rd E, LLC for property owned by 785 Post Rd E, LLC for a variance for setbacks, maximum fill or excavation quantity, grading more than 20% slope adjacent to property lines, grading within five (5) feet of the property lines, turning radius and location requirements for loading space, for a proposed redevelopment to construct a residential/commercial development, for property located in a GBD/Res A-IHZ zone, PID #E09191000.


5. 11 Wheeler Gate:  Appl. #7486 by Joe Speranza for property owned by Don and Amanda Cummings for a variance for coverage for a second floor addition for property over allowable coverage and for legalization of A/C units and propane tank in the setbacks, for property located in a Residence A zone, PID #C08095000. 




At this Hearing interested persons may be heard and written communications received for all applications. These applications may be seen and examined in the office of the Zoning Board of Appeals, Room 203, Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm and Tuesday and Thursday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
