Notice is hereby given that the Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. in Room 307/309 of the Westport Town Hall for the following purpose(s):


1. To approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s public hearing of April 13, 2016.


2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the use of Town owned property known as Jesup Green by the Westport Library from 10:45 am to 11:15 am each  Wednesday from July 6 through August 17, 2016 for “Storytime on the Green,” contingent upon compliance with comments from various town departments and in accordance with Procedures for Use of Town-owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways. 


3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to accept the Petition from residents of Quarter Mile Road seeking an extension of an existing water main; and to authorize the Department of Public Works to proceed with the extension and installation of the public water main to service the referenced area.


4. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Director of Public Works to approve the award of Contract Bid #16-835T as it relates to the Pump Station #11 Force Main replacement. 


5. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Director of Public Works, to approve the award of Contract Bid #16-840T as it relates to the pavement restoration and repair program.


6. Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the residential sanitary sewer connection request at property known as 28 Colony Road, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Coordinator’s letter of April 12, 2016.


7. Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to schedule a date for a Preliminary Benefit Assessment Hearing as it relates to the Sanitary Sewer Extension Project at Joann Circle, Acorn Lane and Clover Road (Contract #66).
