LEGAL NOTICE OF DECISION
   
Notice is hereby given that at a meeting held on March 3, 2016, the Westport Planning and Zoning Commission took the following action:


1. ADOPTED:  Amendment #709, Appl. #15-064 by 1141 Post Road East, LLC for an amendment to the zoning map to rezone property located at 1141 Post Road East, owned by 1141 Post Road E., LLC, from Residence A/GBD zone to Residence A/GBD-IHZ zone. Effective date: 04/03/16.


2. GRANTED:  1 Harbor Hill, Appl. #15-054 by Mel Barr for property owned by Kenneth and Lorraine Palumbo for a Special Permit and Site Plan approval for Excavation and Fill for property located in a Residence AA zone, PID #D04050000.


3. GRANTED:  8 Jennings Court, Appl. #15-068 by Bryan Nesteriak for property owned by Ron and Jane Tarsy for a Special Permit and Site Plan approval for Excavation and Fill in the front and rear yards, for property located in Residential AA Zone, PID #H11020000.


4. DENIED:  Amendment #703, Appl. #15-050 by William J. Fitzpatrick, III for a text amendment to the zoning regulations to add a new section 30A, Riverwalk District, (RD) with a purpose statement that stating the intent of the zone is to preserve the visual character and appearance of a Historic Structure, to mitigate traffic impacts on local streets and intersections, to mitigate traffic generation and parking demand, to encourage residential land uses and allow office/retail uses, to encourage visual and physical access to and along the waterfront and to encourage off-site improvements to serve these purposes.  
           
The above items were granted/approved/denied with conditions, which are on file with the Planning and Zoning Office in Town Hall at 110 Myrtle Avenue
