Notice is hereby given that the Westport Historic District Commission will hold a work session at 6:30 p.m. and a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in Town Hall Room 201 for the following purposes:
WORK SESSION
- To hear a pre-application for possible future modifications at 4 Gorham Avenue located in the Gorham Avenue Historic District.
PUBLIC HEARING
- To hear Chair’s report and update on current HDC activities.
- To approve the minutes of the January 12, 2016 and February 9, 2016 public hearings.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated February 16, 2016 for the proposed replacement of garage doors at 93 Cross Highway, a local historic landmark property.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated February 17, 2016 for proposed modifications to the front façade at 37 Evergreen Avenue located in the Evergreen Avenue Historic District.
- Upon the request of Planning and Zoning Commission, to comment on proposed Text Amendment *#711 Changes to §32-18, Historic Residential Structures.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a request to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application (first and second floors) at 18 Keyser Road.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a request to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at One Conte Place.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a request to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 46 Sylvan Road North.
- To approve a request to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 9 Pheasant Lane.
