LEGAL NOTICE AND AGENDA

Notice is hereby given that the Westport Historic District Commission will hold a work session at 6:30 p.m. and a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in Town Hall Room 201 for the following purposes:


WORK SESSION

 

  1. To hear a pre-application for possible future modifications at 4 Gorham Avenue located in the Gorham Avenue Historic District.

 

PUBLIC HEARING

 

  1. To hear Chair’s report and update on current HDC activities.

  1. To approve the minutes of the January 12, 2016 and February 9, 2016 public hearings.


  1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated February 16, 2016 for the proposed replacement of garage doors at 93 Cross Highway, a local historic landmark property.


  1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated February 17, 2016 for proposed modifications to the front façade at 37 Evergreen Avenue located in the Evergreen Avenue Historic District.


  1. Upon the request of Planning and Zoning Commission, to comment on proposed Text Amendment *#711 Changes to §32-18, Historic Residential Structures.


  1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a request to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application (first and second floors) at 18 Keyser Road.


  1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a request to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at One Conte Place.


  1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a request to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 46 Sylvan Road North.


  1. To approve a request to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 9 Pheasant Lane.
