Notice is hereby given that the Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. in Room 307/309 of the Westport Town Hall for the following purpose(s):


1. To approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s public hearing of January 27, 2016.


2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to review and approve the use of Town-owned properties known as Jesup Green and a portion of the Taylor Parking Lot by the Green Task Forces for “Green Day” activities from 2 pm to 6:30 pm on Saturday, May 14, 2016, contingent upon compliance with comments from various Town departments and in accordance with Procedures for Use of Town-owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways.


3. To take such action as the meeting may determine, in accordance with the Policy for Gifts to the Town, to approve the acceptance of a monetary gift from Peter Suchy to the Town of Westport Police Department to cover the expense of a part-time secretarial position in the Animal Control Office.


4. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the IT Director, to approve the Commercial Access Agreement between the Town of Westport and Cablevision of Litchfield, Inc. as it relates to providing broadband communication services and installation of associated equipment at Town properties known as Longshore Marina and Ned Dimes Marina. 


5. Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to set a public hearing date (“Final Benefit Assessment Hearing Date”) to consider proposed assessments and to determine final assessments to be levied for the construction or acquisition of sewerage system(s) affecting supplemental sanitary sewer connections approved during 2015.
