Notice is hereby given that the Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. in Room 307/309 of the Westport Town Hall for the following purpose(s):
1. To approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s public hearing of January 13, 2016.
2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to review and approve the use of Town-owned properties known as the Taylor and Library Parking Lots by Remarkable STEAM, Inc. for the Westport Mini Maker Faire from 7 a.m. to midnight on Saturday, April 30, 2016 and the Town-owned Property known as Jesup Green from Wednesday, April 27, 2016 through Sunday, May 1, 2016 for event set-up and break-down, contingent upon compliance with comments from various town departments and in accordance with Procedures for Use of Town-owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways.
3. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Human Services Director, to accept monetary gifts from residents and local organizations to the Town of Westport Human Services Department 2015 Holiday Program, in accordance with the Policy for Gifts to the Town.
4. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Tax Collector, to approve the agreement by and between the Town of Westport and TaxServ Capital Services, LLC, as it relates to the collection of delinquent motor vehicle and personal property taxes and other receivables.
5. To take such action as the meeting may determine, to approve an encroachment easement agreement between the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation and the Town of Westport as it relates to the construction and maintenance of a retaining wall and fence within the State highway right-of-way along CT Route 136 (Riverside Avenue) in the Parking Area adjacent to # 580 Riverside Avenue.
6. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Director of Public Works, to approve the Installation Agreement between Ross Solar Group, LLC and the Town of Westport as it relates to the installation of a solar grid integrated photovoltaic system at the Westport Fire-Coleytown Station 6.
7. To take such action as the meeting may determine, to approve the Representation Agreement between the Town of Westport and Bench Strength Partners, Inc. for contract negotiation services with respect to the cell tower site at the Westport Fire Station located at 515 Post Road East
