BOARD OF FINANCE
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Board of Finance will hold its Public Hearing on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at 8:00 p.m. in the Auditorium of Town Hall for the following purposes:
AGENDA
1. To approve the Board of Finance Minutes of the December 2, 2015, regular meeting.
2. Financial Report from the Finance Director. (Discussion Only)
3. Status Update from the Internal Auditor. (Discussion Only)
4. Presentation by the Town Attorney’s office regarding the Freedom of Information Act.
5. Upon the request of the Superintendent of Schools, to approve an appropriation of $290,000 from the General Fund account 10114999-588000 to add cooling to the gymnatorium and cafeteria at Coleytown Elementary School.
6. Upon the request of the Director of Public Works, to approve an appropriation of $30,000 from the Capital & Non-Recurring Fund for design of construction documents to be used for the reconstruction of Elm Street.
7. Upon the request of the Director of Parks & Recreation, to approve an appropriation of $185,500 with bond and note authorization to the Municipal Improvement Fund (MIF) Account for Phase I of the Compo Beach Master Plan.
8. To discuss the expectations for the 2016-17 budget cycle.
9. Review of the proposed Board of Finance calendar for 2016.
Note: The practice for upcoming BOF regular meetings will be to close the meetings at 10:00 PM. Motions to extend individual meetings can be heard.
