Notice is hereby given that the Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. in Room 307/309 of the Westport Town Hall for the following purpose(s):

1. To approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s public hearing of November 12, 2015.


2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the use of the Imperial Avenue Parking Lot from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2016 (rain date January 10, 2016) for the Westport Boy Scout Troop 39 Christmas tree pick-up and recycling event,   contingent upon compliance with comments from relevant Town Departments and in accordance with Procedures for Use of Town–owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways.


3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the use of Town properties known as Jesup Green and the Library Riverwalk on Wednesday, December 31, 2015 from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. for events related to First Night Westport/Weston, contingent upon compliance with comments from relevant Town Departments and in accordance with Procedures for Use of Town–owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways.


4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to accept a monetary gift in the amount of $20,000 from an anonymous donor to the Town of Westport Human Services Department for deposit into the Families in Need and Senior Client Needs escrow funds, in accordance with the “Policy for Gifts to the Town.”


5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to accept a monetary gift in the amount of $9,300 to the Town of Westport Police Department for the purchase of two (2) Solar Powered Speed Display LED signs to be installed at locations to be determined on Imperial Avenue and Bridge Street, in accordance with the “Policy for Gifts to the Town.”


6. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Director of Parks & Recreation, to approve the Agreement between the Town of Westport and John Cooper, as it relates to the Longshore Municipal Golf Course Golf Professional services. 


7. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Phase II contract between the Town of Westport and AKF Engineers as it relates to continuation of services as Owners Representative Engineers for the Energy Performance Contracting initiative.


8. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Director of Public Works, to authorize the First Selectman to participate with neighboring communities and to execute a power purchase agreement for Fiscal Year 2016-2017.


9. To take such action as the meeting may determine, acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to approve the residential sanitary sewer connection request at property known as 45 Morningside Drive, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Coordinator’s letter of November 12, 2015.


10. To take such action as the meeting may determine, acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to approve the residential sanitary sewer connection request at property known as 28 Morningside Drive, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Coordinator’s letter of November 12, 2015.


11. To take such action as the meeting may determine, acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to approve the residential sanitary sewer connection request at property known as 119 Hillandale Road, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Coordinator’s letter of November 12, 2015.
