LEGAL NOTICE AND AGENDA

Notice is hereby given that the Westport Historic District Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 in Town Hall Room 201/201A for the following purposes:

1. To approve the minutes of the November 8, 2011 public hearing.

2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated November 9, 2011 for the proposed resurfacing of driveway and installation of an apron at 6 Wild Rose Road located in the Gorham Avenue Historic District.

3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated December 2, 2011 for the proposed repairs to the chiseled and painted letters above the entrance door at 90 Post Road East, the old Town Hall, c. 1909, located in the Jesup Road Historic District.

4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated December 2, 2011 for the proposed removal of the night depository opening in the rear façade at 90 Post Road East, the old Town Hall, c. 1909, located in the Jesup Road Historic District.

5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated December 2, 2011 for the proposed installation of a retractable awning on the west side lower level at 90 Post Road East, the old Town Hall, c. 1909, located in the Jesup Road Historic District.

6. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated December 2, 2011 for the proposed replacement of the greenhouse window and roof at 90 Post Road East, the old Town Hall, c. 1909, located in the Jesup Road Historic District.

7. To review and comment on Planning and Zoning transmittal for Text Amendment #642/P&Z Appl. #11-053 to modify Section 5, Definition of half-story and floor area, to modify Section 32-12, Inclusionary two-family and multi-family dwellings and to modify Section39A, Inclusionary Housing Overlay District.

8. To review and comment on Planning and Zoning transmittal for 24 Ludlow Road, Special Permit/Coastal site Plan Appl. #11-059 for the construction of a synagogue.

9. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 108 Cross Highway, identified on the Historic Resources Inventory and the Connecticut Freedom Trail as the Henry and Lyzette Munroe House c. 1805-1806.

10. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 22 Baker Avenue, identified on the Historic Resources Inventory as a Colonial Revival style structure c. 1905.

11. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 26 Buena Vista Drive.

12. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 51 Gorham Avenue.

13. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 22 Saint John Place.

14. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a partial demolition permit application at 47 Woodside Avenue.
