NOTICE AND AGENDA
Notice is hereby given that the Westport Historic District Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 in Town Hall Room 201 for the following purposes:
1. To nominate and elect officers following the resignation of the chairman and the appointment of a new full member.
2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the April 12, 2011 public hearing and the April 19, 2011 work session.
3. To review and comment on Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated February 18, 2011 for exterior modifications at 90 Post Road East, old Town Hall.
4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated April 13, 2011 for exterior modifications at 12 Edge Hill Lane located in the Kings Highway North Historic District.
5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated April 27, 2011 for the exterior renovation and expansion at 8 Gorham Avenue located in the Gorham Avenue Historic District.
6. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the request to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit at 25 Maple Avenue North, identified on the Historic Resources Inventory c. 1927.
7. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the request to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 7 Half Mile Common.
8. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the request to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 42 Sasco Creek Road.
9. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the request to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 2 Pritchard Lane.
10. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the request to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 80 Compo Road North.
11. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the request to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 19 Old Hill Farms Road.
12. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the request to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 7 Pumpkin Hill Road.
13. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the request to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 40 Guyer Road.
14. To approve consulting fees for assistance with the preparation of a study report for the proposed local historic property designation at 42 Compo Road.
15. To review and comment on Planning and Zoning Text Amendment #631/P&Z Appl. #11-022, modification to §5, Definitions of Building Area and/or Footprint, and §31-4, Projections into Setbacks.
WORK SESSION
16. To create a committee to review and recommend revisions to current HDC by-laws.
17. To consider application for Wildlife Habitat Incentive Program (WHIP) grant through National Resource Conservation Services (NRCS) for the West Parish Meeting House Site.
