Joint Meeting Notice. RTM Finance and Transit Committees.

Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 7:30 pm (Finance Committee) and at 8:00 pm (Joint Committees) in Room 309 at Town Hall.

AGENDA

1. The Finance Committee will consider the following appropriations, approved by the Board of Finance on April 11, 2012:

A request by the Parks & Recreation Director for an appropriation of $55,000 to the Boating Capital Account #10108830-572200(Facilities Improvements) for repairs to the Ned Dimes Marina.

A request by the Parks & Recreation Director for an appropriation of $425,000 from the Capital & Nonrecurring Expenditure Fund (C&NEF) Fund Balance to the Capital & Nonrecurring Expenditure Fund (C&NEF) Account, Dock Improvements for improvements to Ned Dimes Marina.


BUDGET DISCUSSIONS

      2.    The Joint Committees will consider any requests for restoration of sums removed from the Transit Budget by the Board of Finance at its recent Budget Hearings.

1. The Finance Committee will then consider any requests for restoration of any other sums removed from the Budget by the Board of Finance at its recent Budget Hearings.
2. The Finance Committee will approve the “BOF Recommended Budget for Fiscal Year 2012-2013” as follows: a. General Fund; b. Wakeman Farm; c. Railroad Parking Fund; and d. Sewer Fund

N.B. If The Finance Committee cannot complete the review of the Budget Items from the Town Budget at this April 18 meeting, the discussion will be carried over to the end of the April 26 Meeting or to a supplemental meeting on May 2. The Finance Committee will consider at its April 26 Meeting the Recommended Education Budget, as approved by the BOF. These meetings will be appropriately noticed.
