Notice is hereby given that the Deer Management Committee will hold a public meeting on Tuesday March 13th, at 7:30 p.m. in Room 102 of the Westport Town Hall.
Agenda:
1. Review minutes from Feb 29 meeting
2. Discussion of The First Selectman’s official response to the committee’s inquiry about lethal means for deer control: “The mission of the Deer Management Committee is to focus on non-lethal means of controlling the deer population.” Based on this response, the committee will set goals and priorities for the committee.
3. The committee will discuss the scope of the committee’s focus, such as whether to include tick education, tick control, etc as a part of its deer management/control recommendations.
