SASCO BROOK POLLUTION ABATEMENT COMMITTEE

A meeting of the Sasco Brook Pollution Abatement Committee will be held at the Fairfield County Hunt Club, 174 Long Lots Road, Westport on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. 

The agenda is as follows:

1. Approval of October 26, 2023 meeting minutes
2. Fairfield County Hunt Club – Mario DiPreta
3. Water Quality Monitoring Update:

     a. Nikki Spiller – Review of Harbor Watch water quality testing results for 2023

     b. Embayment Monitoring for Southport Harbor with Brittney Izbicki to showcase some data and results from the current ongoing monitoring.

4. Fairfield report
5. Westport report
6. Other Business

     a. Discussion of UI plan to relocate the electric transmission line from the railroad catenary to monopoles up to 145 feet high from Sasco Brook to the east through Fairfield.
