LEGAL NOTICE AND AGENDA
Notice is hereby given that the Westport Historic District Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 in Town Hall Room 201for the following purposes:
1. To approve the minutes of the February 14, 2012 public hearing.
2. To comment on a report from the Police Department, Railroad Parking Division, on the proposed interior restoration of the eastbound train station in Saugatuck.
3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated February 23, 2012 for the proposed replacement of third floor windows at 60 Post Road East, the Jesup/Godillot House, c.1804, located in the Jesup Road Historic District.
4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated March 5, 2012 for the replacement of the garage door and illuminating sconce above the door at 8 Gorham Avenue located in the Gorham Avenue Historic District.
5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated March 5, 2012 for the proposed re-installation of fencing on the northeast side of the property and the installation of a small section of the same fencing at the back right corner of the house and garage at 8 Gorham Avenue located in the Gorham Avenue Historic District.
6. To take such action as the meeting may determine to review and comment on proposed canopy, change of window and door, exterior refrigerator enclosure and a mechanical vent at 6 Wilton Road, the Vigilant Firehouse, located in the National Hall Historic Design District.
7. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 35 Silent Grove North.
8. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 20 Church Street.
9. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 7 Sprucewood Lane.
10. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 100 Coleytown Road.
11. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 8 Lowlyn Road.
12. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 5 Twin Circle Drive.
13. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 5 Norport Drive.
14. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 25 Maple Avenue North identified on the Historic Resources Inventory as a Colonial Revival style house, c. 1927.
15. To review and comment on the potential effects from the proposed rooftop antenna installation at 33 Riverside Avenue on properties in the National Hall Historic Design District.
