LEGAL NOTICE OF HEARING

The Zoning Board of Appeals of Westport will hold a Public Hearing in Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall to hear the following applications seeking relief from the Westport Zoning Regulations:

1. 15 Island Way: ZBA Appl #7020 by John Watkins for property owned by John Watkins for a variance to Sec 6-2 (non-conforming building), Sec 6-3 (non-conforming lot), Sec 13-4 (setbacks), Sec 13-5 (height) and Sec 13-6 (coverage), to add a 2-car garage and other additions, in a Res A zone, PID # B02164000.

2. 57 Main Street: ZBA Appl #7021 by Dan Brashear for property owned by 57 Main Street Westport LLC, for a modification of previous variance #5286 to eliminate condition that requires third floor space to be used by second floor tenant, in a BCD zone, PID # C10074000.

3. 2 Sherwood Drive: ZBA Appl #7022 by John Mastera for property owned by George Justin and Joanne Gray Phillips, for a variance to Sec 6-2.17 (non-conforming building), Sec 6-3 (non-conforming lot), Sec12-4 (setbacks), Sec 6-2.16 (expansion of non-conforming building), Sec 6-2.2 (non-conforming coverage), Sec 12-6 (coverage), for expansion of house over coverage and in the setbacks for an addition, in a Res AA zone, PID # E05018000.

4. 14 Canal Road: ZBA Appl #7015 by Pete Romano for property owned by John Fitzgerald for a variance to Sec 6-3.1 and Sec13-4 (setbacks), Sec 31-7 (construction within 25’of tidal wetlands), Sec 6-2.1.6 and 13-6 (coverage), Sec 32-8.3.2 (grading within 5’ of property line), to construct a new single family dwelling and associated site improvements that will bring structure into FEMA compliance, in a Res A zone, PID # B02058000.

5. 390 Greens Farms Road: ZBA Appl #7018 by Christian Stauder for property owned by Christian Stauder for variance to Sec 12-4 (setback), to legalize shed in setback, in a Res AA zone, PID # I08047000.

At this Hearing interested persons may be heard and written communications received for all applications. These applications may be seen and examined in the office of the Zoning Board of Appeals, Room 203, Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm and Tuesday and Thursday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
