Westporters are invited to join the Wakeman Town Farm Board in welcoming home farm stewards Mike and Carrie Aitkenhead at a festive Holiday Open House this Sunday, December 11 from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. at the Wakeman Town Farm Homestead, 134 Cross Highway, Westport.
Families will enjoy cookies and mulled cider and ornament crafts in a festive, holiday atmosphere inside the historic Wakeman Town Homestead, all for a $5 per person admission fee to cover costs.

While the kids decorate cookies and make mini gingerbread homes, the adults willl enjoy a mug of good cheer with neighbors and learn about the farm’s exciting roster of educational programs and kids’ camps focusing on farming and sustainability.
There will also be a special unveiling of Wakeman Town Farm’s new logo, designed by Westport’s own Miggs Burroughs, on mugs, and the original, cult-classic "WTF" T-shirts and hats will be on sale, just in time for holiday gift giving.
