Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 307/309 of the Westport Town Hall for the following purposes:
1.To approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s public meeting of February 14, 2018 and the Water Pollution Control Authority’s public meeting of February 14, 2018.
2.To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Chief of Police and in accordance with the Policy for Gifts to the Town, to approve the donation of equipment and training for the Westport Police Department’s Accident Investigation Unit.
3.To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Parks & Recreation Director, to approve an Amendment to the Golf Course Maintenance Agreement dated November 13, 2013 between the Town of Westport and BrightView Golf Maintenance for increased maintenance associated with the bunkers on Longshore Golf Course.
4. Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to determine the Preliminary Benefit Assessment as it relates to the Sanitary Sewer Extension Project (Contract No. 71), which will service properties located in all or part of the following areas: Clinton Avenue, Fillow Street, Breezy Knoll, Richmondville Avenue, Sniffen Road, Loren Lane, Calumet Road, Stone Drive.
5.Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to take such action as the meeting may determine, to approve the request for a supplemental sanitary sewer connection at property known as 1141 Post Road East, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Coordinator’s letter of February 14, 2018.
