Parks & Recreation Department to begin online registration for Fall/Winter season

The Fall/Winter 2010 Program Guide has been published and is now available online.
On Monday, Aug. 30, the Parks and Recreation online site will open for program registrations.
If you are a new Westport resident or a current Westport resident that has not purchased any vehicle emblems, handpasses or registered for any activities you will be required to first set up an account on the online registration site.

Postal Service searches for location for Saugatuck P.O. boxes
The U.S. Postal Service has notified the town that it will soon be advertising for a permanent home for postal boxes displaced when it suspended service at the Saugatuck Post Office.
The postal boxes have been housed in a trailer in the parking lot of 20 Saugatuck Ave. since last September....more>> |

Parks & Recreation announces updated lifeguard schedule
The Westport Parks and Recreation Department has announced the following lifeguard schedule:
Effective Monday, Aug. 30, Burying Hill Beach will not have lifeguards on duty during the week but will be staffed on the weekend through Labor Day. Compo Beach will have lifeguards on duty during the week and weekend through Labor Day. |
